MEET SEAN

Sean Easton arrived in Squamish in 2011 as a whitewater rafting guide. He soon came to love much more than just the access to nature and adventure: the small-town character, the sense of community, the warmth of neighbors and friends.

Over the past 15 years, Sean has been shaped by Squamish: staying here to build a life, a family, and a career in community service.

As Co-Executive Director of Zero Ceiling and founder of DWIFT Housing Society, he’s spent over a decade creating housing, access, and community for those who need it most.

Over that time, Sean has built a reputation for his creative vision, deep empathy, and ability to get things done.

Now, Sean is stepping up to shape Squamish: to ensure people can thrive here now, and for generations to come.

“Speaking to residents, I can see how urgently something needs to change in Squamish. I’ve spent my career creating change in communities by listening to people, designing creative solutions, and taking bold action.

So I realized - if not me, then who?”
